Fireworks

Once upon a journey of lovely days and nights, 

I entered a state of mind that welcomed me with fireworks.

So my head was up in the skies of rainbow lights

Because everything was dazzling with sparks that flatters

Fascinated and amused, I never blink an eye

Appreciating every moment of the magnificent scene

Then I wanted to stop, but I can't even how hard I try

Then I realized that something so beautiful could be so mean

My eyes were wide open as the skies turned gray with smoke

I couldn't help it but scream out for escape

The beautiful state of mind crushed me without a warning note

And my heart was filled with anger, wrath and hate

I was blinded from the naked truth of love

That fireworks are products of playing with fire

Now tears and pain is all that I have

From the regrets I had with my lustful desire
